Overview

Global research on internet-based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (ICBT) have indicated that 90% of participants who had completed a 10 weeks ICBT type programme showed improvements in mental well-being. Randomised controlled trials investigating ICBT for depression indicated that ICBT is equivalent to or marginally better than individual treatment.

Mindhealth@claritysg, Singapore’s first online Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) based programme, provides persons with mental health issues with self-help resources to achieve mental wellness. The online programme comprises two modules – Mind Health & Balancing Your Life.  

Module 1; Mind Health is a 16-week programme that educates and implements self-care stress management activities, negative thought management and relapse prevention.

Module 2; Balancing Your Life is a 12-week programme that resources internal positivity and stress management through mindfulness practices.

 

Objectives

  1. To provide alternative self-help avenues for persons suffering from mood disorders in the community who have difficulties arranging centre-based counselling.
  2. To increase availability of therapeutic mental health resources to community through a productive and self-efficacious tool.

Mindhealth is an integrated self-help online mental wellness tool that offers individualised therapeutic learning with professional therapist feedback.
